Peleliu Express

Palau’s Peleliu Express gets its name from the ripping and changing currents that seemingly appear out of nowhere.  While the currents add to the dive’s difficulty, it also brings the benefit of an extraordinary amount of marine life.

With the abundance of food, on a number of dives blue marlins, sailfish, sperm and pilot whales may come by for a visit and a meal.  On rare occasion one may even see a whale shark or a pod of orcas.

While the Express has Palau’s normal collection of aquatic life (the assortment of grey, white tip and reefs sharks, barracuda, stingrays and giant groupers), it also adds to the collection with Napoleon Wrasse and schools of rainbow runners and surgeonfish.

Be prepared for some best photos of your scuba diving vacation; the groupers, Napoleons, rays, sharks and turtles don’t mind getting close and personal.
